January 2007 — Huber Engineered Woods, a recognized leader in creating specialty wood composites for the residential construction market, will showcase its ZIP System® Wall Sheathing and ZIP System™ Roof Sheathing as well as AdvanTech® Flooring, Sheathing and Rim Board at the 2007 International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida, February 7-10.
System Roof and Wall, from the creators of AdvanTech Flooring, provide builders a faster, easier way to build roof and wall systems. ZIP System panels are structural panels with built-in protective barriers that eliminate the need for felt, H-clips and house wrap. Builders simply install the panels and tape the seams with the moisture resistant ZIP System Tape, and builders are rough dried in for 90 days .
ZIP System Roof is a code recognized underlayment providing builders instant rough dry-in and flat consistent rooflines for a custom home look. ZIP System Wall is a code recognized water-resistive barrier that provides protection for walls during and after construction. Both systems are backed by a 30-year limited panel warranty.*
